With a quick and accurate data to the health managers, in the fight against Dengue, during all the 52 epidemiological weeks of the year, the Dengue Intelligent Monitoring has 4 summarized stages, as we can see below:

1º phase

Based on the knowledge of the vector's behavior, the Dengue Intelligent Monitoring's staff creates a project by means of located diagnosis determining both quantity and placing of the necessary traps in order to guarantee the efficacy of the monitoring.

2º phase

Traps are weekly visited by health agents that uses Hand-held computers, in a simple and agile way for data collection.

3º phase

Integration with the TI system by means of a local cell phone call, giving indexes of density, positivity and risk: just-in-time qualified information.

4º phase

Data processing and generation of geo-processed maps: accuracy and easy-to-use in order to attend the health manager.
