:: Essential cares ::
For reducing the incidence of mosquitos around your residence or neighborhood, avoid dead water that facilitates the mosquitoes proliferation. These are some simple rules which you can adopt:
Get rid of or drain metallic cans, plastic containers, ceramic vases and other containers that retain water (including garbage cans) existent in your property, in a frequent way.
Particularly, care with castoff tires which can be in your property. The dead water inside tires constitutes a commom place for proliferating of the mosquitoes.
Make orifices in the inferior part of the recycled containers which are left outdoors so that water can be drained.
Clear the roof's gutters which are clogged; take away leaves and detritus which can obstruct the pluvial rain's draining.
Capsize both the plastic swimming pools and the wheelbarrows when they aren't in using.
Don't live dead water in the bathtub for birds; aerate ornamental lakes or breed fish inside them.
Keep the swimming pools clear and chlorinated appropriately; remove the dead water from swimming pools' coverages.
Keep your water tank always very well covered.
The water must be always drained to the small plate of the plant's vases. Add sand until the edge of the small plate (the plant won't be hurt).
Inside drains of your residence, examine if there is clogging. Keep them always covered with a lid.
Nos ralos de sua residência; verifique se há entupimento. Se houver providencie o imediato desentupimento. Mantenha-o sempre tampado.
Wash your pet's water container with soap and flowing water at least once by week. Change the water everyday.
In decorative lakes and cascades, keep the water ever clear. Breed fish, because they eat mosquitoes' larvae. If possible, manage the water with chlorine.
In the event of existing glassy shivers, in your residence, on the walls, put sand on those which can accumulate water.
Inside a mineral water container, wash the local where the water is accumulated completely, ever when you change the flagon.
Tip: print this guide and, ever when possible, make a checklist in your house.
