The M.I. Dengue provides indexes of population's density of the vector and elaborates, in an automatic way, geo-processed maps with the mosquito's localization, in the monitored area. For all of that, it uses three sorts of tools:

The MosquiTRAP: it is a trap that captures the dengue's mosquito. In addition, it is also an specific trap to capture the Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus' pregnant female, vectorial mosquitoes of the dengue's diseases and the Yellow Fever ones. It was developed by means of behavioral and ecological studies of these vectors. |
AtrAedes: a specific egg-standing attractor for the Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus mosquito's pregnant female, inserted into the interior of the MosquiTrap trap. |

W.I. Dengue Software: a computerized system composed of 3 softwares developed in order to make information agile.

Dengue Hand-held software : a software specifially developed for collecting data of the Aedes sp.'s pregnant females, in field. It is installed into Hand helds.

Dengue Monitoring: Software developed for processing collected data, and for the generation of tables and maps for the analysis. |
