:: The problem ::
The social, economical and political cost of a Dengue outbreak is very elevated to many cities. Prevention is the cheapest and most efficient way. The lack of accuracy and the information's delay generated by the common used methods produce waste of resources, and they haven't been enough for decreasing the risks of sickness in order to reach satisfactory levels.

Other information about this problem:
• In 2002, health planes increased 10% on the average their monthly dues, due to the injuries caused by the epidemic of dengue.
• In 2003, 346.118 cases of usual dengue, 727 cases of hemorrhagic dengue and 38 deaths were notified, in Brazil . (Fount: SVS).
• A dengue's patient costs, approximately, R$ 250,00 to the SUS, and in case of needing internment, this value raises to R$ 3.500,00. (fount: DATASUS).
• Since 2004, Dengue virus (Den-1, Den-2 and Den-3) have been surrounding in 23 Brazilian states;
• There is a big risk of arriving of the last and fourth virus of Dengue in Brazil (Den-4), which are already found in bordering countries;
