:: What the Dengue Intelligent Monitoring (M.I. Dengue) is ::
The Dengue Intelligent Monitoring is a system that offers, in a continuous way along of 52 epidemiological weeks of the year, accurate information about the presence and evolution of the vector Aedes aegypti in the urban area of the city council. Its goal is to decrease problems related to this sickness.
Real-time information to the health public managers
• Risky areas' continuous observation;
• It permits control preventive actions;
• It guides the work of field's agents;
• Security and the use of advanced systems;
• Detection and capture of the vector.
By means of an integrated system of geo-referred information, placing a minimum part of the heath agents to the inspection and data's collection, which are processed simultaneously every week.
The results allow the Health Managers and the Entomologic and Epidemiologic Vigilance to conduct control actions in a more efficient way; further, they allow them to observe the results obtained through maps, graphics and detailed indexes of the whole area.
